I haven't done that in a little while. Hence, if anyone out there finds me to be a trusted book blogger (shhh...we're ignoring the fact that I'm not really a book blogger), then that means I am worth one whoppingly huge pile of books, and well, for once I'm feeling pretty good about my weight. :P Ahh, Megan, I can always count on you to make my day a little brighter! :DDebihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13999759633682551104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1710818943922563736.post-34765629545653613512013-03-10T17:45:02.044-04:002013-03-10T17:45:02.044-04:00This is GREAT. I'm not your typical book blogger, in fact, sometimes I don't even call myself that, so I don't feel "under the gun" to read this book or that book. I do participate in the occasional readalong or challenge, but not as many as some -- ahem, probably you. :PBryan G. I am so very cautious about my Kindle buys - even when a book is free or 99 cents, I will always download the sample chapters first to see for myself. But searching the book blogger search engine for reviews is a great idea!Belle Wonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12112894169429729531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1710818943922563736.post-58093295145177690412013-03-10T13:01:42.116-04:002013-03-10T13:01:42.116-04:00Love, love, love this post! And I love the kindle daily deals - I've got some great books from there for 99p.

I also read what I like, when I like, without feeling guilty. They look a-ok, so I buy them, but then I never read them because you know they were like free so they much suck. :)Trishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13917705393662132891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1710818943922563736.post-72890700407128099462013-03-10T10:53:49.287-04:002013-03-10T10:53:49.287-04:00I came over here after reading your comment on the...I came over here after reading your comment on the Three R's blog...and I LOVED your post. I have been noticing a tendency of mine to plod along as if reading is a job, albeit an unpaid one. But my resolutions this year included the one about not accepting blog tours or books for review unless they absolutely reach out and grab me.

And I try to include at least one book each week that I bought for myself because I love the author's work....

As for the 99 cent deals...I've succumbed to them, and occasionally gotten a good one. But I need to be careful....

Thanks for sharing!
